The Laguna Beach Firefighters’ Association (Local 3684) represents the 37 full-time, professional firefighters and paramedics who protect the residents and visitors of the City of Laguna Beach. Our members operate the city’s four fire stations 24 hours per day utilizing 3 shifts platoons. As beautiful as Laguna Beach is, it provides plenty of challenges for its firefighters. Due to the city’s location, unique terrain and vegetation, population fluctuation, and ingress-egress challenges the Laguna Beach Firefighters must be highly technically trained and ready to respond to a diverse range of incidents. These emergency incidents include but are not limited to wildland fires in open spaces, mudslides, backcountry remote rescues, cliff rescues, large residential structure fires, significant traffic accidents in congested and challenging roadways, and emergency medical incidents. Laguna Beach Firefighters provide the community with the highest level of service possible. Since firefighters spend more than one-third of their lives on the job, your Laguna Beach Firefighters are engaged community members, contributors to local causes, participants in local events, and stakeholders in the success of this beautiful city. The Laguna Beach Firefighters’ Association is committed to being a positive force in the community that we proudly serve. We take pride in making a difference to the residents and visitors of Laguna Beach, both on and off duty.
